After obtaining her Bachelor of Laws from East China University of Political Science and Law (华东政法大学）in Shanghai, Fei moved to Ireland in 2008 to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). She subsequently completed the Diploma in Legal Studies and the Barrister-at-Law Degree at the Honourable Society of King’s Inns, and was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2020.

Before being called to the Bar, Fei held senior finance positions in Irish public and regulatory bodies, where she led teams, implemented financial systems, and advised on compliance with the Companies Acts and governance standards.
